Dr. Jen McConnel is teacher, writer, and curriculum theorist. Her research focuses on supporting teachers and centering their voices across contexts.

As a former ELA teacher, beliefs and practices surrounding literacy are central to her work.

She has a Ph.D. from Queen’s University in Education, and is the author of the writing guide, Styling Your Writing: Mixing and Matching Academic Writing Techniques to Create Something Uniquely You, now available from Routledge.
